 The First Week, Part 2 of 3 

Friday Morning, August 24th, 2007...The day of Dukie's Funeral and the 1st day back in action for the Na Hoku II.
This album has a mix of both 'kine pix from that day, but most are of the funeral. It was sad & wonderful all at the same time. For those who didn't know Dukie, here is a little background, and for those who did, maybe there'll be a surprise or two:

Caddie, Oahu Country Club, late 50's. Beach Boy, Waikiki, 1955-2006. High Diver for Guy Lombardo's Show in New York City, early 1960's, Also performed at The World's Fair, NYC, 1964. Original Crew, Hokule'a, 1976. Was in the movies "South Pacific" and "Hawaii", also appeared in "Hawaii 5-0". Some of his many interests included Carving Tiki's, Weaving Coconut Leaf Hats & Bowls,
Chess, Backgammon, Bowling, Cards and Pool.
